OSH BROLIN TO TEAM WITH CHARLIZE THERON FOR ‘YOUNG ADULT’

Josh Brolin, star of the acclaimed ‘No County For Old Men’ and the graphic novel adaptation ‘Jonah Hex’ looks as though he’s about unit with the ‘Juno’ team of Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody for ‘Young Adult’ starring alongside Charlize Theron.

Brolin has already worked with comedy legend Woody Allen, and has reunited with the Coen Brothers for ‘True Grit’ and is set to work with the acclaimed pair on the film that sees Theron play a divorced ghostwriter of young adult fiction who starts to realise that she’s so unhappy with how her life is turning out that she decides to head back to her Midwest hometown and reconnect with some old school friends.

Trouble is, she also makes the dodgy decision to look up her old flame (Brolin, if he signs), who is now happily married with kids and isn’t exactly thrilled at the idea of getting back together with her.

Charlize joins Reitman for Cody film

Director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) reteams with screenwriter Diablo Cody (Juno) on the forthcoming film Young Adult starring with Oscar winner Charlize Theron (Hancock, The Road).

The story follows a ghostwriter of young adult novels with a pseudonym who searches for her identity - and her ex-boyfriend - by returning to her hometown. But he’s married with a family.

Theron will next be seen in Mad Max: Fury Road, the latest sequel to the post-apocalyptic Mad Max franchise.

Cody has written the Showtime television series The United States of Tara starring Toni Collette, about a woman with multiple personalities. The writer also posts on YouTube her interview series with actors, called ‘Red Band Trailer’, taped in an Airstream trailer.

Reitman plans to start shooting in November in New York.

Charlize Theron Talks Mad Max 4

During the Spike guys Choice Awards Charlize Theron sung the praises of the director and star working with her on the upcoming Mad Max Fury Road movie. MTV quotes her as saying;
“I think he’s amazing…his work in BRONSON was incredible. Look, I really wanted to go into this because George Miller, well, he’s a genius. And the idea of doing something that has this mass audience appeal, with great actors, that is a dream come true. So I’m super excited about that.”
The film will star Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. Tom Hardy replaces Mel Gibson as Mad max and frankly I am damn excited. It is a safe bet that Charlize Theron will be the eye candy but she will no doubt have alot of depth in her character as she is quite known for playing complex characters. This could with work be the best Mad Max yet.. but it could also suck. Here is hoping for the first.

After Catherine Zeta Jones it’s Charlize Theron, another Hollywood celebrity looking in dire need of a good meal.
The South African actress’s baggy jacket and loose trousers couldn’t hide her slender frame and she looked tired and drawn, with no make-up on her face, Daily Mail online reported.
Last week Theron was spotted carrying a box of meal replacement shakes.
The Lean Body meal replacement shakes are high in protein but low in carbohydrate, to “make it easy to stay in great shape, and perform at your peak”, according to the company’s website.
The shakes are often used by other celebrities, including Britney Spears, when they want to lose weight quickly.
Oscar-winner Theron recently said that she often had “fat days”, like any other woman.

Brad Pitt, Ready to Play Ball with Charlize Theron?

It’s time for Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron to get together.
No, not because they’re two of the most beautiful people in Hollywood, but…
Like Mr. Pitt, Theron would love to see the U.S. host the FIFA World Cup again, as it did back in 1994.
“It would be amazing,” Theron told me exclusively at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards. “I think it would be incredible for the sport.
“If the [U.S.] plays well—fingers crossed—it could really really change things and it could be great for the sport here,” she said of this year’s soon-to-begin soccer tournament. “I’m all for it.”
Pitt announced just five days ago that he has joined the board of directors for the committee putting together the U.S. bid to host the month-long Cup in 2018 or 2022. The decision will be announced on Dec. 2.
Theron will be at this year’s tournament, which kicks off June 11, in her native South Africa in support of her charity, Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project. And after that, she’s off to Australia for a year to film Mad Max: Fury Road.

As Irish actor Stuart Townsend nurses a broken hear rumors are circling that his former partner Charlize Theron and old buddy Keanu Reeves have become a couple.
Reeves, who is known in the industry as a genuinely caring guy, is said to be helping the actress Sandra Bullock (who starred alongside him in ‘Speed 2′) as best he can as she works her way through her divorce.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Keanu and Charlize - the former ‘Sweet November’ co-stars - had been dining at a Beverly Hills restaurant when they were seen sharing what appeared to be an intimate moment.
Theron and Reeves have shared the big screen as husband and wife and perhaps they’re auditioning for reality now too. Reeves certainly stays close to the actors he’s works alongside and it’s not difficult to imagine that that his interest could turn romantic!

Hollywood actress Charlize Theron admits she cannot live without her eyelash curlers.
The Hancock star was introduced to the cosmetic tool by a make-up artist.
“The first make-up artist I worked with curled my eyelashes and now I’m addicted to curlers. I don’t know how I lived without them,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“They are the most amazing thing since sliced bread! After using them, it looks like I’ve had two extra hours’ sleep,” she added.
Talking about her glowing skin, the Oscar-winning beauty said: “I wish there was a magical product, but it really is about hydration. And after exercise, my skin is so much better. It gets your blood flow going and your heart beats up. My skin kind of radiates.”

Charlize Theron wasn’t so chic at Sunday’s Academy Awards … according to fashion critics.
Bloggers ripped on her amethyst and lilac bustier gown with rose and draped detail, created specially for her by John Galliano for Dior.
“Almost every year somebody wears something off-the-wall crazy to the Oscars, and this year the unfortunate honor goes to Charlize Theron,” sniped Eonline. “Yep, those are her lady lumps wrapped in lilac rosettes, courtesy of Dior Haute Couture. This one’s going down in the history books along with the swan dresses and pirate costumes.”
Added The Orange County Register: “We hated the weird rosebud pasties on her strapless, flowing lavender and mauve gown. All the attention in the wrong place.”
Critics at New Jersey’s Star Ledger said the outfit make them “gouge” their eyes out. The Oscar winner “should have taken her bulls-eyes, er, gown and gone home,” they wrote.
But Theron, 34, likely won’t be offended. Asked on the red carpet about her gown, she told UsMagazine.com: “I just loved this dress!”

An array of Hollywood stars turned out to see Radiohead perform their Haiti charity gig in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the intimate Music Box Theater show were only available to the highest bidders via an online auction with all proceeds going to the relief fund in the eartquake hit nation.
James Bond actor Daniel Craig, Rosanna Arquette, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Charlize Theron and True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Steven Moyer were just some of the names in the crowd.

Radiohead’s career spanning 24-song set featured an array of classics including ‘Kid A’, ‘Nude’, ‘Lucky’, ‘How To Disappear Completely’, ‘Exit Music’, ‘Pyramid Song’, ‘The Bends’, ‘Paranoid Android’ and the ultimate ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’.

‘Lotus Flower’ also got its inaugural Radiohead outing after Thom Yorke debuted it during his shows last year.
